Overview

Sky Marche is a rooftop market event concept with a calm, open-air mood. The visual direction uses sky-blue gradients, simple line illustration, and clear date hierarchy to communicate a family-friendly seasonal event.

Challenge

Design challenge

The poster needed to hold several pieces of information without feeling crowded: event name, venue, dates, and supporting Japanese copy. The challenge was to keep the layout calm and premium while still making the event details immediately visible.

Process

  1. Atmosphere first

    I used the blue sky gradient and cloud form to create an optimistic rooftop feeling.

  2. Simple illustration

    Thin white line icons keep the poster friendly while avoiding visual noise.

  3. Readable hierarchy

    The title, location, date, and Japanese message are stacked with generous spacing.

Outcome

Final outcome

The final poster presents the event as bright, approachable, and organized. It balances a soft visual mood with practical readability, making it suitable for digital promotion and printed event communication.
